This is granted not the highest DPS builds for an Elementalist, but it is a classic and whenever someone new to playing an Ele asks for a build I usually offer this one. It’s easy to learn, and it contains components that train the player to understand how an Elementalist can be effective with a simple bar. The inclusion of Pain Inverter is not just a combat asset but also provides incentive to progress in Eye of the North.

Builds like this I feel encourage players to be creative by realizing on their own that even if something works well, it could be even better.
