Elementalist - Vaettir Farmer (E/Me)

This build is for solo farming Spectral Vaettir in Jaga Moraine in Hard Mode

Equipment notes:
If using full Geomancer armor, the armor vs earth inscription is not needed in the shield; either a Fortitude or Devotion shield handle will work just fine. One may find that using an Domination Focus with 20/20 mods (Forget Me Not, Focus Core of Aptitude) instead of a shield is more favorable after getting in some practice, as this can potentially speed up your damage output and reduce the time to complete each phase of your farm.



How to use:
First Rule: ALWAYS use Glyph of Swiftness BEFORE casting Obsidian Flesh as well as Stoneflesh Aura. You will need to monitor both of these enchantments and prepare for re-applying them before their duration runs out.

Maintain Mantra of Earth ASAP while taking hits from the Vaettirs to maintain energy and reduce extra damage.

Once you have grouped all the Vaettir, continue to maintain your enchantments and mantra until they have all balled up tightly. Then begin to use your Mesmer skills.

To maximize effective damage, [Tab] through to the next target with each casting of your Wastrels skills, using Cry of Pain as soon and as often as possible.

Use Windborn Speed to make the run to the farm faster, it may not be advisable to use it while gathering the Vaettir as you will be tight on energy. This skill can be replaced with another and is not required for the build to function.

Other options in place of Windborn Speed:
Light of Deldrimor (damage)
Dwarven Stability (increase the duration of Mantra of Earth)

These are just examples, other skills you may find are even more useful for you.

Cupcakes are very helpful to speed things up and provide some padding with energy supply at the beginning of each farming run.
